On 26 January 2022, Corinne Cahen, Minister for Family Affairs and Integration and Minister for the Greater Region, received the Moroccan ambassador, Mohammed Ameur, during a courtesy visit.

The two discussed, among other things, the friendship between Luxembourg and Morocco as well as the living together of the approximately 1300 Moroccans in the Grand Duchy.
