Social Volunteering Fair 2026
As part of the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees is delighted to invite you to the 2026 Social Volunteering Fair – a day dedicated to civic engagement, solidarity and bringing people together.
Come and explore the stands of 40 associations, along with interactive presentations throughout the day at neimënster (28, rue Münster, L-2160 Luxembourg) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - a free event, open to everyone and with no prior registration required.
Food service by Burger and Co food truck. (vegetarian option available)

| 11.00 – 11.45 : Interactive presentation: “Engagement zu Lëtzebuerg: villfälteg, noutwendeg & onbezuelbar ” (Volunteering in Luxembourg: diverse, essential & invaluable) – by the Volunteer Agency |
| 12.00 – 12.45 : Interactive exchange: “Benevolat vu Mënschen mat enger Behënnerung” (Volunteering by people with disabilities) – Info-Handicap and the Department for People with Disabilities at the Ministry of Family Affairs |
| 12.45 - 13:00 : Address by the Minister for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees, Max Hahn |
| 13.00 – 13.45 : Interactive presentation: “Benevolat am Alter, fir den Alter” (Volunteering by and for the elderly) – Department for the Elderly at the Ministry of Family Affairs |
| 14.00 – 14.45 : Interactive presentation: “Zesumme liewen, zesumme gestalten : Benevolat a Biergerbedeelegung an der Gemeng” (Living together, creating together: Volunteering and civic participation in the local community) – Department for Community Life, Ministry of Family Affairs |

The presentations will take place in Luxembourgish, with simultaneous translation into French and English provided by the SIMI service of ASTI asbl. Sign language interpretation will also be available, provided by Hörgeschädigten Beratung SmH.

Accessibility and mobility
- The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- An Adapto service is available upon prior booking by telephone, with the pick-up and drop-off points located at the neimënster car park.
- As the number of parking spaces near Neimënster is very limited, it is strongly recommended that you use public transport or the City of Luxembourg’s public car parks.
