The next elections are the European elections, to be held on 9 June 2024 in Luxembourg.

Why vote?

If I want to participate in the EU elections I have to options:

  • I vote in Luxembourg to elect the 6 representatives of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the European Parliament.
  •  I vote in my country of origin. To elect the representatives of my country of origin, I get in touch with my embassy or consulate.

Who can vote?

To vote in Luxembourg, I must:

  • Be a Luxembourgish citizen or a national of another EU Member State
  • Be 18 years old on election day (9 June 2024)
  • Be living in Luxembourg and have lived here at the time of my application to be registered on the electoral roll
  • Register on the electoral roll until 15 April 2024 at 17 p.m.

How to register?
  • In person at my local administration. I show my identity document to the local official and fill in the forms provided by my local authority.
  • Online via Guichet.lu. I start the registration using my LuxTrust product. I complete, sign and submit my application.
