Projects within the framework of the National Action Plan for Integration
As part of its calls for projects, the Intercultural Living Together Division of the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception supports flagship initiatives.
In 2025, six projects were selected under the 2025 Call for Projects “Promoting Cultural Diversity and (Re)Discovering Luxembourg”.
This call aims to support local or regional initiatives built around two main pillars:
Workstream 1: Promotion of the Council of Europe’s certified cultural routes or similar initiatives.
Workstream 2: Passing on and enriching Luxembourg traditions

Living Library Luxembourg
Project lead : Zentrum fir Politesch Bildung
Project title: Human Library Luxembourg
Project duration: 3 novembre 2025 – 30 juin 2027
Target Audience : Le projet cible les jeunes et adultes intéressés par les questions de diversité, d'inclusion et de mémoire collective ainsi que des bénévoles ayant fait l’expérience de discrimination.

Alternatives Urbaines
Project lead: Wecitizens
Project title: Alternatives Urbaines : Council of Europe Routes and Illustrated Citizen Stories
Project duration: 3 novembre 2025 – 30 juin 2027
Target Audience : The project is aimed at all residents of Luxembourg, regardless of age or origin, and directly involves guides, historians, artists, illustrators, videographers, as well as coordinators.

Project title: Kultur Mosaik Lëtzebuerg
Project duration: 3 november 2025 - 30 June 2027
Target audience: The project targets residents of Luxembourg, including young people, seniors, newcomers and professionals, who work together to promote cultural heritage and share it with the general public during events.

Project title: Chemins croisés
Project duration: 3 November 2025 – 30 June 2027
Target audience : The program is aimed at adults aged 18 and over, whether they are residents, DPI/BPI, refugees, new arrivals from the EU or third countries, or cross-border workers. Activities take place in mixed groups, with a particular focus on cultural and social diversity.

Project title: Come Together Associations Network
Project duration: 1 May 2023 – 31 December 2024
Target audiences : Primary target audience: professionals and volunteers who shape the associative life in Luxembourg; representatives of associations, other organisations as well as municipalities. Secondary target audience: Radio ARA radio listeners, about 9,000 people per day.

Target audiences: The primary target audience are all associations and residents. A particular attention will be paid to people who are less integrated in the local life: foreigners, DPI (ex-Eurohotel hostel), people with special needs, people with social difficulties (Centrest), and elderly people.
